Hey Bridges Church Family!

I'm so excited to step into this new role as the worship leader at Bridges. I'd love to share a bit about where I've come from and what I envision for our time of worship together.

I'm a proud native of the Pee Dee region in South Carolina, raised in a Christian household with my two younger brothers where my family served in the church faithfully. My dad served as a guitarist, vocalist, and eventually as worship leader. My mom joined in too, lending her voice to the worship team. That's where my love for worship really started to take root.

Growing up, the values of community, prayer, worship, and the importance of the Word have been ingrained in me. They shaped my understanding of God from an early age. It wasn't until I was 14, though, that I made the decision to devote my life to following Jesus.

God has used me in various ways since I decided to follow Him. I picked up the guitar at 15 and shortly after joined the worship team at church. In college, I joined the worship team at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM). Soon thereafter, I was asked to step into the role of worship leader. God used my time serving in the college ministry to grow me into not only a follower, but a disciple of Jesus. I graduated from Francis Marion University in 2020 with two degrees; one in marketing and one in economics.

Fast forward to July 2022, and I found myself saying "I do" to the love of my life, Brenna. Together, we're diving headfirst into the incredible adventure of life all in pursuit of serving the Lord in unity.

When I'm not leading worship, you'll likely find me brewing up some specialty coffee, reading a captivating fantasy novel, or watching an LA Laker or Duke Blue Devil basketball game. Brenna and I also have two adorable cats, Jutsu and Zuko, adding some extra joy to our lives!

Looking ahead, my vision for our worship community is clear. I see us stepping into a worship experience that goes beyond the usual routine. Let's not just sing songs; let's make music with our hearts, praising God for all He has done and will do.
