Sponsor a Child

This is Audiel. He likes to beat me in “No Stress Chess.” So far, he has won 4 matches. Now, “No Stress Chess” is different than regular chess; there is some “luck” involved as you draw cards that tell you what piece to move, but still, he was “won me” as he would say, 4 times. 

I’ll be sitting at a table tutoring another student, and he will walk by with this grin and say, “I’m going to take your king” which is his way of saying, “I’m going to win you.” He is a pretty cool kid.  

Audiel is one of the 33 students in the Inspiring Hope Learning Center, children that God has brought to us to receive mentoring, tutoring, discipling as well as love, support, and encouragement while discovering that God has a future and a plan for their lives. Each day they experience God’s love in an environment that is Christ centered. Each one of them is amazing.  

Through the Inspiring Hope Learning Center, you can sponsor a child like Audiel and be part of his or her life by praying for, writing to, visiting and perhaps even tutoring or mentoring them. Sponsorship is $50/month and provides all the activities of the Learning Center plus Birthday & Christmas gifts, a Bible, fun field trips and daily snacks. It is an opportunity to be on mission right here in our community. It is a chance to help impact a child’s life for eternity.
