We want to welcome Laura Mason to our staff as the Director of Children’s Ministry, overseeing our ministry to children, birth through 5th grade, and their families. Sarah Jarvis will continue to be the Children’s Ministry Associate Director, with direct oversight of the preschool class. They will serve together in creating environments and opportunities for children and families to grow in their walk with Jesus.  

Laura and her husband Nick have been attending Bridges since October 2023, and she has been a key volunteer in the children’s ministry since then. With volunteer experience in several churches in the past and having worked with children since she was a teenager, she brings with her a passion for seeing children find and follow Jesus and to come alongside parents in their roles as disciple makers.  

Nick & Laura lived in Africa for several years as Nick served with Water Mission as a missionary n both Kenya & Uganda. Nick continues to serve with Water Mission while living here, helping to design different projects to help get clean water to communities around the world. They have 2 girls, Mira & Hallie who are both part of the children’s ministry at Bridges.   

Please welcome Laura to this new position and be praying for her in this new role. There are many ways to be part of helping children and their families find and follow Jesus, and she will be looking for volunteers who can help in multiple areas.  

We are excited about what God will do in and through Laura as she takes this step of faith and service. It has been a joy to see God’s Hand in this at every step with HIs perfect timing.
