You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. - Psalm 139:16

What's your story? It's one of the greatest things you can find out about someone - what's their story? The highs. The lows. The good. The bad. The joys. The sorrows. The celebrations. The regrets. What's your story?

Where do you see God at work in your story? That is a question that speaks to a life of meaning and purpose. Where did He step in and you knew it was God? When were the times that you didn't see God at work until everything was over and you knew then that God had been there all along? When did He bless you? Discipline you? Provide for you? Give you a peace and a hope that defies any other answer? When did He open doors that made you stop and think, "There is God, right there; there's no other answer for what happened? It had to be Him."

When did you feel His presence when all seemed lost and you just knew He was there? You could almost feel His presence - tangibly, as if you could reach right over and there He was?

When did you wonder if your story was actually going anywhere? One more story in a world full of 7 billion stories, most of them quietly being told off on the side or back in the background, where no one looks and no one pays attention.

For those who follow Jesus our story is woven together within His story. We are part of His story that is unfolding day by day until it all comes to the conclusion He wrote long ago.

His story is the story. A river running through it all, flowing ever onward to all come together in the ocean end, each of us a drop in the river, made up of billions of drops, but each one moving purposefully forward.

What a privilege we have to live out our stories, wondering what will happen next but assured that ultimately our story and everything that happens in it will turn out for the good if we love God and are called according to His purpose.

As we wrap up our series this Sunday, Finding Your Place in God's Story, reflect on your life story to this point. Look back and realize that God was with you at each step, each decision point in your life, each crossroads you came to. He is faithful. His steadfast love endures forever and has been part of your story from before the beginning.

Your story is already in His book. Reflect on what that means and how it can help you live out the rest of your story in a life that is worthy of your calling.

We would love to help you unpack your story and see what God is saying through your life story - contact us through info@bridgeschurch.net and we can set up a time to walk through your story - looking back so you can move forward.

What's your story? I would love to hear it.
