They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. - Acts 2:42

We are about to enter into a 50-day journey of prayer beginning this Sunday, October 1, a journey of seeking God with all of our hearts.

The first church was devoted to prayer, and they experienced God in their lives in powerful ways. This is something we want to experience ourselves, more of Christ in our lives as individuals, as a church and as a community.

Over these 50 days, there will be several ways for you to join in....

Awaken Forsyth

Over 20 churches are joining together to pray for each person in our county, all 392,000 in 155,000 households by name, October 1 - 31. Bridges has committed to praying for 10,000 of those households. To get involved, sign up by clicking this link - AWAKEN FORSYTH SIGN UP.

Who's Your 7?

November 1 - 21, we will be taking 21 days for prayer and fasting to seek breakthroughs in our lives and in the lives of 7 other people that God puts on our hearts. This will be a time to really seek God and His work to break barriers in our lives - emotional, spiritual, mental, financial, and relational. God is powerful and through prayer He unleashes His power to change lives - including our own. More information coming soon.

In addition, we will be focusing on prayer in our services on Sunday with prayer times during communion for those seeking prayer with an elder or prayer leader.

This is a time to truly seek the Lord in our lives and in the lives of others.

Look for ways to get involved and step out in faith.

And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. - John 14:13-14
