Father God,

Thank You for the moms in our lives, the grandmothers, the mother figures, the stepmoms, the foster moms, all who have loved us as moms.

We ask Your blessings on our moms. Hold them up. Fill them with Your presence. Bless the work of their hands. Bless them with every spiritual blessing and give them peace.

We are grateful for their dedication, their devotion, and their courage. Being a mom is a noble thing, but not an easy thing. We see their sacrifices, their putting others first, their faith, their love, their compassion, but we don’t always acknowledge them for who they are and what they do.

So, today, we say “Thank You” to You for giving us the gifts of “mom” in our lives. You created the idea of moms, and as with everything You created, it was good. We are grateful beyond words. In Your providence You provided the perfect mom for us to be who You created us to be. You saw us before we were born, and You saw her before she was born, and through Your amazing work, we are both here, miracles each.

We also say “thank you” to each and every one of our moms. We would not be who we are without you. Your love for us has helped us through many a day. Your dedication has kept us going. Your devotion has filled our hearts. Your courage has helped us overcome.

One day is not enough to say, “Thank you.”, but we will say it again on Mother’s Day and live it out every day, grateful that you are in our lives and through you we have received the gift of life. May you all be blessed because you are a blessing to us.

To all our moms, we say, “Happy Mother’s Day!” May every day be filled with Jesus.
