It is almost time for Bridges to begin taking small steps to regather for onsite worship.

Sunday, June 28 will be the start of a "soft regathering" for those who want to return to onsite worship. Safety protocols will be in place that we ask everyone to follow (see below) and many of our "normal routines" will be suspended until we move into a more "open phase."

This Phase 1 "soft regathering" will last for a minimum of several weeks as we continue to evaluate what is happening in our state and community to ensure the safety of all.

During this time, the next phase of renovations to the facility will be put into place using some of the monies from the sale of our Murray Road property. These renovations will greatly help in social distancing and will be something to look forward to when everyone does return. God is still at work! (the sale of the Murray Road property is scheduled to close 6.19.2020)

Throughout this time, look for further updates on the renovations and on our status in moving forward.

Live Streaming the worship services will be a top priority through this time and on into the future and we expect most people will worship together this way for a while longer.

Each person should pray to discern what is the best way for you to worship - online or onsite - the key is a heart centered on Christ, not your physical location for worship.

This week I was asked by someone if it would be okay if they shared our services on facebook and the answer is a resounding "yes" - this is a great way to help people get connected to Jesus. Watch parties of less than 10 people might be a great way for you to share the message of Christ in your own home. Rather than retreating through this time, we want to continue to move forward to reaching the world for Christ.

It is possible to build unity and faith even when we cannot fully regather for onsite worship - God has been showing us how this is possible through the use of technology. Each week I hear stories of people being discipled through online small groups, disciple making happening through You Version Plans and zoom calls, and hundreds gathering for worship online. Bridges has actually grown through this time as God has moved hearts and brought people together.

He has a dream for us as a church and will see it through to completion. We can trust Him for all things even as the world seems to be spinning and uncertain. He is in control. He is steadfast and true.

Please contact the church with any thoughts or questions - prayer needs  or simply encouragement or help. As followers of Jesus we are here for each other.
